FastClick CPC ads only

I've been looking at my FastClick stats and I'm making a lot more eCPM on CPC vs CPM ads. I'm going to start running only CPC ads and see if it keeps up. Anybody here running only CPC ads from networks other than AdSense? My sites have high CTR so CPC and PPC seem to be the way to go :)

I've been thinking of giving this a try as well. I would think you could get a general idea of what you'd earn by looking at the number of clicks you get per 1000 impressions of your CPM ads and multiplying it by the average CPC price.

On the other hand, I would assume that those advertisers who choose CPC over CPM would do so because it gets them a lower cost per visitor for their particular ads (low clickthrough rate??).

Fastclick will only serve a certain amount of the ads. I'm pretty sure your earnings will go down.

Anyone know what's up with Fastclick's new variable CPC/CPM ads? Do they pick the method that gives the publisher the best value or the advertiser?
