Does the Yahoo directory actually pass on PR anymore? I've just realised that yahoo isn't listed in my backlinks for any of my sites that are listed in the directory. For example, the URL to my carbohydrate counter site from the directory is:

http://rds.yahoo.com/S=95665894:D1/CS=95665894/SS=96577618/SIG=1182kpgih/*http%3A//www.carbohydrate-counter.org/

I don't remember the URL's being like that before?

Is that with IE or Firefox? I remember viewing a page in both, and IE had the long URLs while Firefox did not...

Is this an atempt by Yahoo to upset the Google result quality, do you think?

I took a look through the waybackmachine.org and it seems like they've been using these URL's for ages. although, I don't remember them.

I'm surprised google ever crawled them. Weird.

Would make very little difference I would think - more likely to be click-tracking?
