I just use the ad networks, I don't do any direct ad selling.

I think I usually just go with an ad network that'll be successful with the site. I'm getting into CMSs more than static so I will basically be able to change it at any time. Any of the sites that I'll run in the future that will be static will have includes for any positions I may put ads in. That way it'll be easier to switch up the networks. Right now I'm only in Adsense and Amazon, though. And I don't like using Amazon ads--I feel putting up custom ads directly linking to books and such do much better.

i tried phpadsnew but it was very complicated, at the minute i use google but ill end up just using a rotator probably

are there any programs like phpads new but that just says how many time the image has been displayed, how many click throughs and possibly an option to take it off after so many views? with an admin panel?
i like the idea behind phpads new but its VERY complicated and advanced for most regular sized sites

I don't use any currently but I used to, and would if I needed, use phpMyAds.

I don't consider it complicated, just very customizable.

I think it's a bit bulky, but not tough to use.

i think tntcheats hit the right word. its not TOUGH to use, its just bulky and heavy. I am using the default functions on the networks.

Includes, or just plain straight out HTML, Chris?

If HTML, then do you use a program that automatically goes through all of your sites' pages and replaces the code?
