I want to create a car community on a certain car make.

What tips do u guys have ?

Where should i start ?

Most car community have a forum for their backbone but im a bit confused on how to get visitors there. Its hard to get a forum started with very minimal traffic.

i would choose a car that no other sites have already choosen.

Then offer info on certain problems with the car and how to fix them. Things that relate only to that car.

I may do a car site in the future. That would be an enjoyable venture.

What car do you drive? Looks at sales numbers too. If you choose the right car you can have build a gigantic online community around a single model.

Car sites are very useful. The last car I bought was specifically because of one site. Whenever I have a problem with the car I check the message board and figure out whats wrong -- then I can fix it myself.

the poorman and cutter are right. My site is an online carshow for imports (http://www.importrival.com). It caters to modified imports.

I, too, have thought about making a site around one car. Try researching cars that are only sold overseas. (I assume you are in America). Perhaps you will find one that is not very popular, yet has loyal owners and enthusiasts.

What happened to your Scion site, s2kinteg916? I thought that was a good idea.
