I have a buddy icon site. It is getting an average of 2,000 uniques per day, and about 12,000 page views.

I have tried everything I can think of to make some money with this traffic. Of course, the popular networks like fastclick and similar didn't aprove my site. I have tried all kind of affiliate products with no sucess (amazon, tshirt hell, etc). I tried those free screensavers, and got 2 installs in a week. Adsense makes about a buck a day.
Tried azoogleads, and they suck, they never even answered my request to join them.

I then tried out some popunders. Infinityads are horrible, they started poping up 5 windows at the same time. Same thing happened with popuptraffic. I am now using paypopup, but they don't pay much.

So, I decided to try out those well-known activex popups, and I am now earning over $700 each month. Wonderful income, but I hate the idea of using these things.

Is there any other option to turn 60,000 uniques each month into some decent $$ without having to use activex??

I'm surprised that Azoogleads didn't answer your request to join. They usually provide very quick and fast support. Make sure that you're signing up for the "AzoogleAds CPA Publishers" program and not the "Bluetime/CPM" program. They are two separate programs run from the same website and the sign up can be somewhat confusing.

I think that their free smilies program could make you a lot of money. If you continue having trouble getting signed up, PM me your AIM or MSN Messenger address and I'll try to help you out.

Well, my first thoughts are...

How do your google ads look on the site? Are they integrated into the format of the page or are they off to the left or right and out of the natural eye path? If they are out of the eyepath, your click thrus will go down. If they stand out too much, click thrus will go down.

Same with amazon. Do you just have a search box that says amazon or do you have links to products related to the page the person is on?

There is a difference between having the ads up and having them up properly to make money.

I suspect with the keywords adsense displays for he won't be able to make much more than a few cents a click.

Agreed.

Like suggested above, go with AzoogleAds and I also recommend CasaleMedia.

Cheers...

I actually emailed them about this a few days ago and this is the response i got:

I did approve your application several days ago. We've
recently discovered that our system isn't issuing emails confirming that
approval.

I've seen many clicks at my ads giving me a lousy cent, so adsense won't do it.

I was indeed trying to sign up to the wrong network at Azoogleads, I have signed up to the cpa one a few hours ago, so I hope they answer and aprove my site. I've always wanted to put up those emoticon ads, I'm sure they would be a great success.

Anyone here uses Azoogle? How much do you make each month?

I've signed up for Azoogle weeks ago and they didn't reply me too. I'm going to contact them later.

I use Azoogle and I'm making what I consider to be pretty good money from them, especially considering the low amount of traffic on the sites I use them on. If you have a site with even a small amount of traffic related to one of thier offers, for instance, a free smiley site running the free smiley offers, you'll do well with even a relatively small amount of traffic.

Yes, I browsed around some threads here and it seems they can be a good option.

Still waiting for their reply...
