Google Panality is really a punishment by google to those sites who have duplicate content or something spammy on that sites and it should be for a long time or for a short time period or completely ban. It also affect the site's ranking at a search engine. A Google Penalty has a negative impact on the rankings of the site in Google SERPs. There might be two reasons for the decrease in your rankings: Google Algorithm Update or Manual Penalty. Manual Penalty is an action that is taken by a person from Google’s Webspam Team. If the team feels that a website has been indulging in suspicious activities that are against Google Webmaster Guidelines.
