LOTR The Third Age

I'm very excited this game is coming out next week. I've been wanting to play a new single player RPG lately, so when I heard about this game coming out, I almost !@#*

Any other RPG fans out there? This appears to be pretty massive with plenty of side quests and secrets in addition to the lengthy primary quests. It's for the console only (xbox/cube/ps2).

The PC AoE-type one looks better...

The AoE-type one (classic strategy) has been out for over a year already. This game is RPG, totally different.

RPG's have never really been my thing. But personally how has no one mentioned Half Life 2?! After the amazing atmosphere created in doom with gfx and sound, hl2's next generation game engine should blow the socks of anything we've ever seen before. Fingers crossed the gameplay is just as good.

yes. Halo 2 looks quite good... i have a preorder for the special edition. I will be pissed if they dont have it reserved for me.
