Not enough, yeah...

Infact mine have taken off recently... I just wish I'd made more of them early on... Well I'm paying people to make them for me now...

I think that if you're planning to make AWS sites, make a few really good big ones with lots of other content, with varied categories, and lots of smaller sites that are possibly sub-categories of the larger ones.

Aren't AWS sites really overdone now, atleast the generic ones that are so common?

i agree. Is money still being made of the common ones?

If you can beat the masses and get a good ranking ;)
I would assume that even just seeing how all the descriptions in Google look the same, that lots of visitors are lost anyways...

Yes, there overdone, don't make one!!! What's your definition of 'better AWS stores'? Last year I made $16,215.73 from AWS, and my sites were, and still are, ugly, er until I upgrade to AWS 4 this weekend, then I'll have a much better template!!

I'm just waiting for my first sale still :) But I have a few ideas up my sleeve and am coding more SEO into the AWS system I use.

Do you just copy and paste that all the time? ;)

Is Paul (Scrivens : Scrivs : http://bigmoneytips.com) the only one who has pointed out the design on your sites to you?

Nintendo, if anything, I think we should all want you to raise your hack's price and keep the competition down. If just to keep from sacrificing Google results for visitors not looking to have to go 8 pages in to find something that isn't AWS.

Competition is great!!! helps us learn

Also lowers our ability to earn as much money as if it weren't there.

Thats where diversifying helps dont put all your eggs in one basket. Even so if nintendo did raise his hack prices and this point everyone has a aws site... To late now

I still dont get this hack. What does it do? Does it just make SE friendly URLs?

If so, why dont people just use .htaccess and mod-rewrite? Heres what my AWS urls look like.

plasma-review.com/plasma-products/B00021Z8VS/Philips-26PF9966-26.html

Where 'plasma-products' is my PHP script that gets the page, with the ASIN to get the product info, and the name is just for the SEs...

r2 alot of people dont know how to do mod-rewrite... hacks are designed for people with no programming knowledge or ability. You get really nice canned results, that 1000 other people might also have. Not much diversity, but it does the job.

you know how to program, so most hacks do you no good :)

Ah ok :) For $50 I was thinking it must do something really clever or something. Good work Nintendo! You could sell a freezer to an Eskimo!

If theres money to be made with this sort of thing, I think I might polish up my AWS4 PHP class library and package it for $100 or something.

I'd be selling the hack for at least $120, myself.
