I'm about to be a fastclick advertiser. My campaign is launching tomorrow. I'm paying them $1000 for 125,000 impressions ($0.80 CPM) on a flash ad.

Look out for a leaderboard campaign with Incka Media in it's name if you're on fastclick, it will be me...

I'll post more details soon.

Good work! :)

How targetted traffic is that? What sort of sites can I see it at?

Well I'm not sure if any of us will see it, fastclick serves, um, maybe a billion ad impressions a day, and I'm doing just over a million over 4 days...

I've targetted it to more entertainment sites, getting rid of any educational or business related sites from it's range.

Any idea if I will have to send a cheque for $175 to Inland Revenue (VAT) or doesn't that count as it's not in the UK?

Not sure really, but I wouldnt think so. You dont have to remember everything you buy on holiday then mail the Inland Revenue a cheque for VAT.

I would think you would be paying tax for whatever country FastClick are in.

And in the US if the company has a customer who isn't in the same state as them sales tax doesn't apply...

Think there might be an import tax?

Hmm, thats a tricky one. I would think that as you are paying for a service really, so nothing is actually imported, you wouldnt have to pay import tax. Completely guessing though really :)

I'll ask my accountant, um, better be tomorrow, don't want Inland Revenue on my back...

I wouldn't think Inland Revenue would come into the equation, they only come in when you earn money from outside more than sending it out. But checking with your accountant is best.

I'm serving them on my Funny-Riddles site, through FastClick :).

Hey Incka how are you measuring the success of this campaign?
What sort of returns do you expect/would like?
If you don't mind me asking.

I am going to run a FastClick campaign once my newest sites is finished.

Seems like a good way to get some money out of my PayPal account anyhow. :)

I've been convincing the CPA people to pay me quicker so I can refund my campaign more...

I still haven't figured out how you make so much from ebay... Do you mind enlightening me please, if you do I'll give you exact info about this campaign I'm doing including profit margins and how I got higher CPA than everyone else for the offer...

eBay allows you to incentivize their offer but monitor you pretty closely.

I just know how to make money from my audience. :D

This month was slowish though. :o

I may try what you are doing with $1,000 Fastclick campaign and see how it goes, may definatly be worthwhile.

You are on a CPA of about $0.70, no?

A lot higher than that... I'm a friend with the owner of azoogle, so he increases my payout on anything I'm going to promote...
