Very strange person to have met! The only Afghan I've ever know to have a scouse accent!
Quite funny really!

Not much to be proud of in Britain apart from our acent, our sense of humor and massive foreign aid packages that Gordon Brown added in that budget thing I watched on bbc2 a few months ago...

I'll watch it with high standards when I get home... :)
BBC is something to be proud of for a start :)

It is so flippin huge that its difficult not to find a part you will like ;-) (but its size is bad, my wasted tv license money).

BBC is on cable in the US... I watched it a few times, does it seem to be a trustworthy news source? Which bias is it? I am looking for a new news network (see reason).
Reason:
I just got pissed at Fox News, O'reilly getting charged with sexual harrasment... CNN is way too biased... The only news program I like is Frontline on PBS.
I agree its not perfect - but when you look at the other UK channels and channels they have abroad, it is far better than anything I have seen.
I guess you have a US version of BBC, with US news maybe? I have always found BBC news to be completely unbiased. 'Due to the way we are funded..' etc....

I get the US majors and BBC world.
I gotta tell you I am so tired of hearing about the Scott Peterson case or the US elections. Just vote and get it out of the way :(
I do like British humour thanks for reminding me they have done something for the world after all :D especially the Office and Yes Minister!
