Hi all,

I'm currently making ~$1.40 CPM on Adsense - how do other ad networks compare?

(I tried signing up for Casale for my wedding forum, but they rejected me.:()

Default ads with other networks often dilute their eCPM (effective CPM). I don't think you'll find a superior CPM rate unless the advertising is fairly targetted.

I get like a eight a month with the program on my crappy little site http://clickjoke.com with about 40-50 visitors a day.
Guess we're both getting a bit lower than we should be--most people get around $4.00 CPM with Adsense.

Have you tried placing them in new places--places people don't normally expect ads?

Most of my adsense blocks are on a forum, which would explain the low CTR. I'll look into other placement options, though :)

Thanks chaps.

Adding a skyscraper ad(sense) on the left side could increase clicks but would also mess up the layout in most cases.

i will have to keep that in mind and where it fits add a skyscraper. Some of my pages would accomadate it.

isnt 1.40 per 1000 ads shown real good ? Ive read through forums and most people say they get on avg like .85-1.00 per cpm.

Could be that's what they're paying.

The last CPM program I was with was a popup one (I'm ashamed) and it had $4.00 CPM.
