Post a link to your AMAZON site if you have one so others can see how you are using it and what sort of information is on your site. I figure this will be a good thread to show off what you have done. My site is www.moviesonline.ca but AWS isnt a large part of it at all, you really gotta hunt to find it right now.

An example of mine is my movie/dvd page http://www.moviesonline.ca/film29.htm The movie page uses a mix of aws data and 90% my staffs entered data. If you click on the DVD page that page is 90% amazon and 10% my data. I use my own movie synopsis since the ones from amazon are flakey at best.

Mine is nothing to wonder at, but hopefully will get the ball rolling on this thread.

you got quite a few there Allen. Did you write your own script for your sites, or are you using somebody elses?

Hi Emancipator,
The sites are various versions of the application we are writing, details are at www.gmpias.com (http://www.gmpias.com) it is written in vb.net/asp.net, the AWS3 sites were the original version and when AWS4 was released publically we re-wrote the core code to take advantage of AWS4/ECS4. We are basically through withthe core code and are working on the admin area (settings, featured products for categories, shopping cart reports, etc.) and also working on the documentation. We should have it ready by November 1 (if everything goes as it has). We have put about 300 labor hours in the core code to ensure it worked well.

crikeys, if i put 50 in mine i would be pushing it.. lol. but my core code is very easy since its in php and has set parameters.

I like the layout, i would suggest that the graphics need some love. I am sure you will get to that once your done the dev portion.

What sort of dollars are you looking at for this application?

we are going to do a lot on te presentation side, once we have all the nuts and bolts in place.

We are going to ask about $69.00 for the non source version and about $119.00 for the source/dev version with project files.

thats a fair price. $70.00 is easily made back.. especiallly if you touch up the visuals a bit :)

AWS-Allen

yes we think it is a good price considering all of the time we put into it, search engines such as google also like it

do a google on

site:www.buythistoday.com

and

site:shop.designertoday.com

(shows 10,000+ products for each site).

the cool thing about it, is even with the non-source version you can do whatever you want visually.

yeah i consider a mod rewrite a must. i sort of assumed that would be a feature since unspiderable urls makes the whole thing worthless in my books.

yes it has a http re-writer builtin thanks to asp.net and our excellent programmers. We are nearly done with the featured products module, you can put your own featured products onthe front page or any category, no only that but you can turn on and off categories and browse nodes. We have around 80,000 browse nodes in the application at this point and you can add you own as well, so you can be super specific.

http://www.ordervideogames.com/ Just a store.
http://www.videogamereviews.vg/ Just reviews that use Amazon's AWS, since AWS 4 now let's you have up to 100 reviews per domain.

I got 27 domains that use MrRats script. Most are just stores like the first link, a few are on content sites, and then the review sites.
