Oh.... since I already had a Vioxx page (and was indeed getting some related traffic) I added to it.

http://www.iddb.org/drugs/vioxx/

We'll see if it makes me any money.

I wonder if I officially started the mesothelioma craze? I think I did.

Westech

Wow! I'll bet that's paying off pretty well for you. Are you seeing increased traffic on your pages for Celebrex and other related drugs?

Did you ever get the adsense ads sorted on your new site?

Chris
10-10-2004, 08:38 PM
Well my drug site spiked on Friday with an effective CPM of $39 with adsense. I'm assuming the spike was vioxx related. We'll see how it pans out.

If you are interested enough, you could always make a channel just for the Vioxx drug page.

Be interesting to know. :)

No, I still have the problem with PSAs on my site.

James

Wow 39$ CPM's real nice. Especially since you're probably getting increased traffic due to this new issue.

isnt vioxx the drug in the news that seems to do more harm then good?

James

It's drastically increasing the risk of heart attacks and strokes--almost doubling the risk.
This is especially bad because a large portion of its users use it because heart desease causes arthritis in them.

On your homepage its in those paragraph descriptions. Put the word drug in less and you will stop showing PSAs on that page, I even tested this on my own server a few months back when you were complaining about PSAs before...

Shawn

I'll try it Spurr.
