i know that rectangles don't need to be above the fold, just "between content"... i have one on my artist page, and on some of the artist pages, i.e. this one: http://www.lyricallysquared.com/viewartist/Taking-Back-Sunday it's above the artist recommendations... but on other pages... like.. http://www.lyricallysquared.com/viewartist/OAR the only content below it is Related Artists: None

does that count as being between content? if it's not, can anyone think of some sort of "filler content" i could put down there so that it is okay?

It seems ok but the only answer that is going to matter is from the Advertising network. You should probably ask them.
