How do they make money if they don't bundle in Spyware/Adware/whatever-ware with the download?

I think they do bundle something with it.

A search bar which has the buttons for using the smileys/cursors/screensavers/history-swatter on. I would expect about 1 in 3 users use the search bar regularly for their searches. Thats about 2 searches per day per user average (active doing 6 searches). 60 a month. Let's say 1 in 20 searches result in people clicking the ads on the side. Each ad pays on average $0.25 estimate to smiley central. That's $0.50 a month per user. AzAds currently pay users $0.70 per download, I expect they get about $1.00 per download. Smiley central makes it back in just 2 months. No ad-ware or spy-ware needed.

Didn't Azoogle used to pay a lot more than $0.70 per download? What happened?

The maximum they have ever paid is $0.75 a download.

Then who was it that used to pay $7.00 per download? I thought I remembered you talking about them a while back incka... Or am I just imagining things?

I said £7 for free 888 casino on net download AGES ago, perhaps you are confusing it with that?

I must be. Please ignore me from now on. $7 per dl would be nice though... :)

I'd be nearly a millionaire if it was :)

Really? The maximum you could have earned is $33.98 (how much I have got for referring you) * 50 (2% referral) * 10 ($7 is 10 times $.7) = $16990, which is no where near $1 million.

You could argue that because of the higher earnings you could pay more in promotion, however their would be more competition so I have chosen to ignore this in my sum above.

I don't think his comment was made to be taken literally ;).

Anyhow, thanks for the replies. :)

Sorry, I can never tell if someone is being sarcastic or no, and it doesn't help not being able to see their expressions.

In time, you'll pick up on these things even though all you have to go by is words, and smileys!

I can't tell either. If you're going to be sarcastic, make it REALLY sarcastic :)
