An internal link is a type of hyperlink on a webpage to another page or resource, such as an image or document, on the same website or domain. Hyperlinks are considered either "external" or "internal" depending on their target or destination.

Internal links are links that go from one page to a domain to a different page on the same domain. They are commonly used in main navigation.

These type of links are useful for three reasons:

They allow users to navigate a website.
They help establish information hierarchy for the given website.
They help spread link juice (ranking power) around websites.

An internal link is one that focuses to another page on the same website. These sort of connections are helpful for three reasons:

1. They enable users to explore a site.

2. They help set up data chain of command for the given site.

3. They help spread connection juice around sites.

An internal link is a type of hyperlink on a webpage to another page or resource, such as an image or document, on the same website or domain. Hyperlinks are considered either "external" or "internal" depending on their target or destination. Generally, a link to a page outside the same domain or website is considered external, whereas one that points at another section of the same webpage or to another page of the same website or domain is considered internal.

Inside Links are hyperlinks that point at (focus on) an indistinguishable space from the area that the connection exists on (source). In layman's terms, an inward connection is one that focuses to another page on a similar site.
