I try to come up with ideas how to get people to link to your aws shop pages.

primarily you will want to build a link exchange using one of your other content sites.

Yep, Chris recommends building a content site with similar theme, let it grow for a while and gain links, then use it for on topic links to your store.

I agree - no point in an AWS shop if you have nothing extra to offer visitors. Depending on the subject matter of your shop, you may still be able to exchange links though. For a general AWS shop - I really don't see a way other than buying ad space.

What's AWS Shops. Is that a script for Amazon?

AWS = amazon web services. allows you to use amazon's item database to sell their stuff.
