i reapplied to fastclick yesterday, the first time i had been rejected was several months ago and my site traffic has improved considerably since then. anyway, as i was filling out the application, at the end i didn't notice it asked for *DAILY* impressions, and accidentally filled in my monthly impressions.... well, i got accepted... so... should i email them and let them know that i made a mistake? or does it not matter?

Wait until they notice - then say it must've been an error on your part when applying ;)

Everyone lies about the amount of traffic they get, and the amount of traffic you get changes all the time. I don't think fastclick will mind.

I think fastclick are letting more sites in that the were rejecting before, Batkhela.com got in recently for instance after it was not allowed in fastclick or basically any other ad network before.

I never lied about the amount of pageviews I have, but I give maybe 10% of them to fastclick. The rest go to other networks.

Fastclick accepted your lyrics site - WOW.
What's so wow about that? Or have I missed some history?

Supposedly they've stopped accepting lyrics and online games sites, although I know someone who had their game site accepted the other week.

I think they are loosing their policies on new sites... Time for me to make a cheats site and a humor site and maybe a lyrics site.

How much for your database?

depends... i'm not sure selling it and adding another competitor to the field, one who would have all the same data as me, would be the right move... especially when i'm adding more features to the site now and building one or two more sites around it... if i did sell it, it would have to be for a decent sum of money

What do you class as decent?

at 1 cent per lyric + 1 cent per artist it would be around $2000

eMEraLdwPn, did you put all those lyrics in a database by yourself?

I think he has users submit some of them.

I submitted a few to his site myself. MG is probably correct.

So visitors type up the lyrics then?
