I've never seen an image ad, but I've seen their text ads before, some pointing to that page. If they're going to take up ad space I would hope they're paying publishers for it.

The sad thing is, I highly doubt they're paying publishers for it.

I see that ad on this very thread. And I clicked it.

1. I am almost certain that you do get paid for these ads.

2. They probably outbid the other advertisers. Check your stats :)

I've seen them before. I would imagine they do pay. If they were going to take the liberty of advertising on publisher's sites without paying for the privilege, then I'm sure it would be in the TOS.

I sure hope they are paying, because one of their new leaderboard ads "Turn your website into a revenue generator in minutes" has all but taken over most of the pages on my aff site.

Even if they do, it's obviously not as much as I make off the other ads. Which would probably explain why the last couple of days my Adsense earnings have dropped. That site accumulates the most (90-95%) each day and for those days I haven't made enough to equal a single previous day.

I wonder if they'll allow themselves to be filtered? I'd hate to have to lose all image ads.

They're all just google ads on adwords for me. Not ads on adwords from google that is.

Ha! My earnings for today are right back to where they were pre-Google takeover.

I'm still getting the ad Chris posted above on one page, but the other ad took over all but like 2 pages. Seems they won't show their ad(s) ON anything that has casino/gambling related content either. :p
