Improve your traffic by submitting to directories, search engines and anything on topic you can find :)

That will bring more income but not higher CPM.

Heh, yeah, kinda got a bit mixed up :)

Try other networks, you'll find some reviews around here...

www.adcache.com, www.fryprograms.com and www.adnetworkreviews.com are OK for reviews too, but not the best. I'm busy creating an ad-reviews site, I'll tell you URL when finished.

Some sites just don't have the earning potential of other sites.

I think the best way of increasing CPM would be finding ads that are more closely related to your content. You can try other things too, like putting ads in different locations on the site, changing their colors, etc.

i've been using adsense because i've been rejected from like... every other advertising agency, i have no idea why. as far as increasing traffic, i've submitted to dmoz several times and i have a few listings, but not an enormous amount... i don't really know what else i can do...

For me nothing compares to the CPM I get with adsense anyway. Even popups.

I know it's been mentioned everywhere, but have you tried Azoogleads? They've just released Bluetime, which is a cpm network. They accept nearly everyone :)

i haven't tried them as i was under the impression it was the type of advertising company you register if you want to innundate your site with annoying flashing banners and loads of popups, which i'm not interested in... maybe that's not true though?

Nope, not necessarily. I have been happy with their CPM program, although I have not yet received my first check. They are simple animated image ads, flashing sometimes but not too annoying. I don't use their popups, if they even offer them.

I've also been rejected from every other ad agency, but I have Adsense and Azoogleads :) so we have something in common.

I've had one hiccup with getting payed by azoogle, and that was sorted prompty. You'll have no problems with getting your checks etc.

AzoogleAds = Alex, the Managing Director. He's very friendly but at the moment seems very busy.
BluetimeAds = Someone else, I've never talked to them.

To the original poster here, you have several websites in your signature - maybe if you tell us which website you're referring to specifically we can suggest other sources of revenue.

I register to http://www.azoogleads.com
But I never receive any email whether my account approves or not.

what kind of ads does azoogleads have? Are the ads similar to text link like adsense.

nope, they are image banners for CPM (bluetime) and they also offer CPA (azoogleads).
