How To Calculate Bounce Rate ?


Bounce Rate = (Visits With Only 1 Page view) / (Total Visits).

In the standard reporting page,
1. Go to the the Behavior of Audience
2. Select 'New vs Returning'
3. You will find the data for both the groups including their individual bounce rate and number of bounces.
4. You can make a comparison of the contribution to the total bounces by using percentage.

Bounce rate is number of sessions with just 1 pageview divided by total of sessions during a period of time.
