Domain age has very little importance interms of SEO.As per sources old domains get good postions in google search results.One of the possible reason is, since it is old and google considers it as more trusted compared to the newly registered domains.But you don't need to worry more about domain age.There are certain factors that are more important such as content,quality backlinks etc.
