hi there
can anyone help,
my partner and I run an e-commerce site and we dont live/work at the same place but we both need to access our emails that come into the store.we have a webmail account on our server but it dont do enough for us to manage.
what we need is a webmail that will allow us to both browse the email and put a tick or some kind of acknowledgement the one of us has delt with the email and not to answer the email again or even a little post it to give each other info on what we have said or done, hope this makes sense.
does anyone know of software or a company that does this?

regards john

I'll tell you what you need. A trouble ticket system.

I can't recommend one off hand, but there are premade scripts out there, do some searches.

I highly recommend EdgePanel (http://www.renaxsolutions.com/html/edgepanel.php). We use it at eXtremepixels. Bob (the owner) tried out several different ones but none were up to the job we needed them to do. EdgePanel was and we both really like it. We've been using it for a few months now.

Or if you just want to stick with an email solution, you could install something like HiveMail (http://www.hivemail.com). You could just setup a folder and move the emails to it that have been dealt with, or flag messages, mark them as read, etc.

why not just create folders and but in according to what you want, like a dont reply folder and etc.
