Recently someone posted a link to their adult site that contained porn images. I posted that I thought they should not do that and my post was removed.

This is a general webmaster forum where people these links could cause the following problems:

- People too young by law to view porn could click.
- People in countries where porn is illegal coud click.
- People who do not wish to view porn could click.

Therefore I propose either banning porn sites from being linked to on the site or having a seperate forum for them.

Correction - He posted 2 threads, I thought my reply was removed but it is actually in the other thread.

But we do need a policy on this Chris...

Its up to my discretion, but I do not discriminate against webmasters of adult sites. They're webmasters too. This forum is also not meant for children. If someone posts just trying to promote their adult site, that wouldn't be allowed. But if someone has a legitimate webmaster question about an adult site I have no problem with it.

Could you make them clearly state that it is an adult site then?

I don't have a problem with requiring a statement.
