Hallo everyone.

To keep a long story short, I hope there is someone out there as might have a few good points in regards to my website.

For now almost 4 years ago I decided to get a "hobby" website covering the global travel, lifestyle and hospitality industry issues. http://www.culinarycult.com.Now 4 years later, and a lot of free time work, it has become a quite large site, with a okay google rank, etc. I have tried to contact my original designer and programmer, in order to get some ideas how to increase traffic, could it be a redesign of some of the sections, etc, not really any reply back, and unfortunately I learned that for most designers, they design the site, where after the knowledge is basic, or atleast not really helpful for a hobby site owner as my self.

The site is receiving +/- 15000 unique visitors each month, but in order for me to make a living out of it, I see that the traffic should be 10fold.
I have with great interest been surfing around this forum, where it seems like serious people, where I hope some of you will visit my site, and come with good or bad comments you might have on how I could bring my site to a new level.
Might be helpful to know that I just bought two new domains as is redirecting to the site as well, since I found that the first name culinary cult did not really give any point for the features on the site, these domains is http://www.lifentravel.com and http://www.lifeandtravel.com

I'm looking forward to your reply, and wish you all great success.

Your design is good, with a good layout that is easy to navigate.

I have two suggestions:

* Pick some keywords to target. Put these keywords in your title tag, use them in links to your sites (eg. links from other site owner to your site). Also increase the amount of incoming links and therefore your PR. To help you choose which keywords to optimize your site for, go to http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/

* Apply to some ad networks such as FastClick, TribalFusion and Burst. Also consider some targetted travel affiliate programs such as those offered at cj.com

That's about all I can think about at the moment.

Cheers...
