Why wouldnt they? Its only got a dash and ?, nothing unusual. How would Google know its an affiliate link?

In the case above, the url probably would pass on PR. However, some affiliate links are more complex and make it less likely to happen. I would javascript it or use out.php or something similar just to make sure you don't leak any PR.

Its not that it is an affiliate link.

Its that affiliate links often use multiple redirects and end up at odd long urls (often with sessionids) at merchant websites. Even if you do no redirecting on your end the affiliate program will.

Of course, to be sure, you could use a redirect script on your end.
