If it's just for testing, can't you just host it on your own computer? PHP & IIS or PHP & Apache..

There are many articles that cover this, http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=how+to+install+PHP%2C+MySQL%2C+and+Apache+on+Win dows. You should be able to find something there.

Using your own computer as a server is very productive though. You can save instantly, and looking at it in a browser is quick - as you might expect. I cant believe I didnt do it earlier. I would never develop on a remote server now.

Its really not that hard setting it up - especially if you use a package. Plus you learn a lot about how ur hosting works.

Even easier to set up on your windows machine if you use a package such as Foxserv (www.foxserv.net)

It installs Apache, PHP and MySQL in one go, all you need to do is give it a username and password. Dead simple, no faffing around with setting them up individually.

Cheers, John
