what type of sites do ad networks like ? and what do they dont like ?

do most ad networks have something against gallery sites ?

im thinking of a celebrity photo website...

The problem with celebrity photo sites is you're likely going to be using copyrighted content. That probably goes against your hosting, and many ad networks terms and conditions.

Go for a site that will be visited by adults in the main, and only young people if targetted (EG: Literature, students need essays).

Go for something you are interested in and is searched alot. I have an interest in history, so I am creating loads of history sites. Chris has an interest in survival, so made his survival site, Chromate has an interest in travel (And if you're going to ask, no, he doesn't have much interest in weight loss :p ) so made a travel site...

Avoid entertainment, such as jokes, games (I was lucky to apply to fastclick when I did, they are not leanient about allowing games sites anymore), pictures, celebs. Although there are exceptions to this.

So factual information aimed at adults is best which does not include a userbase such as adding photos themselves or chatting.
