Help with promoting new search engine

I just launched the beta of a new search engine, called lessjunk.org, which searches only the top 5000 sites on the web. I did a press release and a few other small things to promote it, but I haven't really gotten much traffic yet. Anyone have any tips for promoting a site while its in beta? Any tips about promoting the final release would also be very helpful.
