You'll want to get your own dedicated server, personally I use softlayer, but there are many dedicated server providers.

Taking into account your specific needs, I think that dedicated server will be reasonable for running 50 web sites.
Try to do a search Via google and choose the best one..
You can always contact company's support, tell your needs, and their experts will find a good fit for your needs.

Hey how's it going. This is my first post on this forum.

To answer your question I would recommend heading on over to Amazon Web Services and creating a Micro EC2 instance. This is a dedicated server and you can use Amazon Route 53 to create an .xml configuration file for all your host zones and record sets (which is what you are doing).

If you use 32 bit OS on a t1.micro instance it will be free. Each hosted zone is only $1 and you can have many.

If you want any help then search google. There is a lot of support out there.
