Linking Images

Hi all,

Just a quick question. Is the only reason images are not reccomended for websites because they cannot have anchor text? Or is there another reason?

Thats pretty much it. There are some usability issues but I for one don't use text for usability (its just a side benefit).

No. I mean I don't use text for usability, I use it for SEO.

Using text has two benefits, SEO and usability. I care more about the former than the latter.
