basic guide for adding videos

hey I would like to make my first website on a certain show so it is kind of like a fan site with videos and photos. However, I would like the videos that are on the site to come straight from my computer as they are high quality and stable. Could someone please give me some brief steps on what I have to do to accomplish this, I will research further into each step myself. I would like to provide the users with a download link for each video and how would I go about uploading these videos?

Is uploading to zshare the best way or could I somehow upload to the webhost so that my videos are never removed.
