Site under development, going to be using AWS, maybe a few articles.

So, I've been looking at the following domains

keywordkeyword.com - Registered, no site, owned by a web development company
keywordkeyword.net - For sale by one of those companies that buy domains and sell them for a high price
keyword-keyword.com - Registered, site established, based in the UK
keyword-keyword.net - Not registered

So my only choice is the keyword-keyword.net, however, I was wondering if I'm at risk for any legal issues from the keyword-keyword.com site by registering the .net

The keyword-keyword.com really only sells a certain type of product, based on the site's topic. The rest of their site's links point directly to other sites (Amazon, other online retailers, etc.) with other types of products based on the topic.

Now, my site, as said earlier, will use AWS, and I may have a few articles or so.

So, my final question - am I at risk for any legal issues by registering the .net version of the keyword-keyword?

Doubtful. It sounds like it is a generic term and generic terms cannot be trademarked (or aren't supposed to be).

Yes, it is a generic term.
