I have a bit of a chrisis here. For every single page on my wireless review site the description is "Wireless Phone Reviews, ... " and nothing more. This happens of every page, most full of content. I don't know why google isn't taking a chunk of text off the page. Instead it is using "Wireless Phone Reviews, ... " for every single page, thus destroying my ranks. For the life of me I don't know why this is happening or how I can fix this. Anyone have some insight on the matter?

Here is a test URL, just plug this into google and you'll see what I mean:

That page doesn't validate, but I'm sure the person who built it knows that. :)

So how are your sites going? How do you promote your forums? I have so many questions!

Also: Is Wiki extracted then uploaded, or can it be uploaded then extracted?

My only guess for why this is happening is the long gap before you get to any real content on your page. It appears Google is using some alt text from your logo and thats it.

Also abstracts are made on the fly. When you search for a URL Google doesn't really have any keywords to go on. If you found that page by searching for "Signal boosters" the abstract would be different.

Wiki was extracted and then uploaded, I think my site has a total of 900k files or so

Burst let me in because I stressed it was an education site with moderated discussion.

OK, thank you, I will do that too when my forum get's large enough...

900,000 files? How did you upload them all? It would take me months!

Um, how many folders? And if it's hundreds is there an FTP that can make folders automatically? (PS: I've had a domain for ages, but I've had nothing to do with it, so... If I get money from the site I will reward anyone who helps)

Smart FTP makes folders automatically if they are in the folder that you are transfering onto your server...
