Online Membership Question

I created a fictional lifestyle magazine called Laborliss and recently we've put all the pdf versions online and you have to be a paid subscriber to view them. It's only $20 per year and you get all back issues plus a year from when you subscribe.

Basically, you get a lot of material for only $20 per year but it's a brand new concept and I need some ideas on how to get people more aware of it.

We do a print version of 10,000 around Phoenix and we have loyal readers, but with the online version we're looking to expand.

Any ideas are welcomed.

Selling online memberships is very difficult, There was a surge of websites doing this a few yaers ago and they did well at first, but many have gone back to the free version. My own experience in selling memberships has been dismal. I have found selling yearly memberships is better then monthly. How many memberships you sold so far?
