I was looking for a company to place ads on my site with, and stumbled across all the big ones. I decided to submit to Burst since people said they were better for small to medium sites. I got a reply saying the entertainment catergory was full and they werent accepting any more sites in that category.

I was wondering if this means either a polite way of saying they didn't like my site or they truly arent eccepting any more entainment sites right now. And I was also wondering if you knew any other companies I could apply with that have good cpm rates?

Burst has been giving that line for a long long time. I'm sure that if a really stupendous E site came around they'd accept it but they're not looking for any more entertainment sites.

See the reviews here:

They're pretty open with their admissions. Much moreso than Burst.

I got in with my soccer site, but I wouldn't recommend it for small sites.

what would you cpnsider small. Right now my website gets around 1000 unique visitors a day. I would try Tribal Fusion, except i sometimes cant keep 1000 unique hits a day on slow weeks (it drops to about 900).

1000 uniques a day is more than enough for Fastclick.

Tribalfusion is as selective as Burst BTW.

do you know about what there average cpm rate is. I am currently using Everyone.net ad pugins and there rates are TERRIBLE. only reason i tried them was because i use their free email for my website.

Fastclick probably has an average CPM on popunders of $5. They're one of the best (if not the best) popunder providers.

Burst doesn't like my entertainment sites either.

Fastclick don't seem to be as open as they used to be, but give them a try. I'm getting $3.50 for pops, $0.65 for leaderboard, $1.03 for rectangles (Very Good :) ) & $0.50 for wide skys.

I'm earning alot of the smiley central affiliate program on my entertainment sites, they pay $0.52 per download. Go to www.azoogleads.com and please use my referral - 1924

Considering using Fastclick popunders. You can limit them to one per user per day and still make good money.

FastClick was really fast compared to Burst. I got a email saying that they didn't accept my website. Any other good ad agencies that pay decent? I would be willing to use popunders if I could just get accepted.

I think part of my problem is my website is considered a "Entertainment" website and their are tons of those websites!

I only got $0.06 CPM with them.

AzoogleAds are far better with the smiley central program. Ask me or Dave M (or Mike in a few days when he has his account set up)...
