Is there some tool or website for Free that you can search for expired domain names with possible high PR or link popularity? Thanks!

Not off the top of my head. I can't think of any reputable free ones.

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=free+expired+domain+search

The really valuable ones are the ones that cross reference expired domains with Yahoo or DMOZ listings.

So do you know of a good way to find expired domain names to purchase which may already have excellent link popularity and/or traffic? I am trying to find a partner site for my current weight loss site. Thanks!

There are services out there that do that... but they're not free.

This is really bugging me now...I'm sure there was one mentioned which showed domains that users had simply 'thrown away'.

Grrr...I'll remember it soon...

I'm happy with the one I have - there would be not much point in getting another.
