Keep finding reviews on this, but don't really get what it is. Is it some software that enables you to run a server under the windows interface?

Thanks,
Mike:)

Windows has always offered servers. Their server OS was Windows NT Server, Windows 2000 Server, and now Windows Server 2003.

Their actual web server software is IIS (Internet Information Server).

In general with Windows servers you have higher costs, lower security, lower performance, and less available scripts/tools. Windows Server 2003 was supposed to be ultra secure but its brand new and people have already found 2 major vulnerabilities.

Linux/Apache is definitely the way to go.

OK, thanks Chris...

Also thought it was a little expensive.
