I'm on a differnt computer and I'm seeing alot of ads for ISPs and british gas. I've never seen them on fastclick sites before, they are more valueclick type ads. Anyone else seen them?

Im sure the different ads aren't due to you being on a different machine... Which site are you looking at?

Games2Go and 3BGames... I've just seen a mastercard one too... I can't find the ads in my control panel...

Do they have 'default' ones? I dont know how FastClick works, but I assume they are normally targetted?

Yeah, I don't know exactly how FC works either, but I did notice a Western Union ad on his site, which didn't seem to be a default.

Usually all my ads are either:

Google
Smiley Central/Hotbar Smileys/Curser Mania
You've WON!

It's nice to see some other ones on... There not defaults... My defaults are fastclick referral, casino on net & another casino..

Perhaps Fastclick has an easier time of figuring out that you're British on the other machine (different IP address).

Well valueclick sites seem to have an easy time pinpointing me as British, and Google AdSense, but on Burst! site's I have often seen adverts with $ amounts on them...

Found the ads... UK Telecom/Credit... They are CPC...

Turns out I have the BBC advertising on my websites... Pretty cool...

BBC have recently started a drive for more visitors to their site, Britannia have also started a heavy advertising campaign recently.

British Gas have been active for a while now - for their paperless billing campaigns.

BBC is, in my opinion, the best content site on the internet. They have a legal right to put ads on there site. They are doing a survey with a question about having adverts on their site.

A really dont think the BBC should start offering advertising on their site. I thought the BBC weren't allowed to advertise anyway?

The site is a brilliant source of info, but I think advertising would really compromise it.

Only on UK TV. Watch BBC World in france and you'll see adverts.

Ah thats OK, since the French dont pay TV licence (not to BBC anyway), I think its fair they have Ads.

You only pay the licence for TV broadcasting though, the web is telecommunications, not broadcasting.

What about the radio? No adverts on there...

I just like the BBC without adverts :) Wouldnt seem right if they had them :(

Could just about handle adsense, or something discrete, no flashing banners!
