adsense placement question?

Can we place the large adsense box at the top of the page?
I dont see anyone else doing it, but noticing how the drudge report has a box (not adsense) on the top of their page figured id try it out if its allowed?

You can put adsense ads anywhere on your page you want. So ya, stick it up top if you like

Top of the page is allowed i think, but a good placement is near the center of your content.

The place might not be that easy to figure out. Some webmasters might earn great by placing the ad units at the bottom of their pages while others do it on the top center spot.

The place should be selected according to the best visibility factor because more people viewing the ads and reading the lines will click on them.
